The funniest night of my life.
It was so funny that I had tears pouring down my face.
We
were going to my aunt's because I was going to Freedom Fest and my
grandma wanted to see her latest great-grandchild. Well, we got into
Monroe, then headed out to find the back road to my aunt's. It's still
under construction, so my grandma said to keep going straight. I did,
then at the stop sign, she said turn right. I turned right. We drove for
about 15 minutes, then she said turn around. So in the middle of
nowhere, pitch black outside at 11pm, I turned around. We got back to
the road we turned off of. I turned left onto it. Then about 10 feet up
she said back up and go the other direction on the road we were just on.
I started backing up and at that moment I realized how ridiculous the
whole situation was. I started cracking up laughing. I got onto the road
and drove, laughing even harder at this point, because we were lost and
my grandmother desperately needed a bathroom, and not for her bladder.
Then she said, "You're going to go home and right about this, you can
call it, 'My Adventures.' Still laughing I replied, "No, 'The Night I
Got Lost With My Grandmother.' Then the tears started pouring down, I
could barely see where I was going I was laughing so hard. We got there
in one piece, but damn was it a hilarious ride.
